	Doctor's Office Interior These preliminary sketches were developed for a doctor's office. We were searching for an "uptown" appeal that would offer a calming environment where he would meet with his clients. The use of mahogany, brushed brass and verde marble delivered a "classy" presentation.
A corner windowed room was chosen for the Office. Bare mill finish aluminum window mulls were first clad with the cabinetry wood of choice, Honduran Mahogany and an African wood, Wenge, as trim. Glass paneled doors were built for the library unit above and custom cut Pacifica Verde Marble panels were used for the doors in the base cabinetry. Verde marble was chosen for the counter tops and windowsills. Brass band inlay at the counter top edges and collars at the Wenge column capitals were added to accent the wood and stone. Mahogany coffered ceiling beams were lowered from the ceiling line 8” and strip lighting fixtures were laid in the hollow beams creating dramatic indirect lighting for the Office. A matching Mahogany desk was designed and built to complete this striking Office.
