The Lake Lodge
Situated on a bluff overlooking Lake Monroe, this lodge style home contains over 10,000 square feet of living and entertaining space. Rough back limestone slabs from a local quarry were brought to the building site and hand cut for the exterior veneer stone work. Western Cedar siding and truss work finish out the exterior theme. Standing seam metal roofing covers the ligature Dining Room Bridge spanning open ground between the Main House and the Guest House. The Main Kitchen and the Guest Kitchen adjoin the Dining Bridge at either end. Thirty two foot high ceilings dramatize the Great Room Hall punctuated with a limestone fireplace and a one-piece hearthstone weighing 5,700 pounds! Naturally, Stone Cabin Kitchens complete the splendor of this stately home.
